Sept. 6 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. August sales at Wal-Mart Stores Inc., Macy's Inc. and teen retailers rose more than analysts estimated as consumers purchased apparel and electronics for the new school season.
Unemployement claims were down and that is worrying some as to the extent of a rate cut.
