The bulls don't cut it and ES is trading below 1200. NDX looks headed for the March gap close (1687.19, QQQQ 41.48), although we are still dealing with op-ex and 42 support. As mentioned earlier, we are getting into the next band of support, namely October 2005 lows for SPX (1170/1180). The technical damage is pretty severe. VIX closes near highs (31.21). Eight to one NYSE volume down day.
